Unit 4 Overview
We will be using the McGraw-Hill Discovering Our Past: A History of the United States (Early Years) textbook to assist us in learning more about the United States Constitution in this unit. This unit will discuss most items in the textbook in chapter 8 and we will dive deeper into content and topics from this chapter and the entire United States Constitution. This unit will end on February 22nd and 23rd with a unit test taken on MasteryConnect. 80% is expected on each assessment given on MasteryConnect and on the unit test, so the worst you can do on these assessments is 80%. If you do not meet the mastery standard of 80%, you will be requested to come in during FLEX to be re-taught then retake any assessment you did not demonstrate Mastery on during this unit. JANUARY 24/25 -RECITATION OF PREAMBLE OF THE US CONSTITUTION
FEBRUARY 9/10 & 13/14 - WE WILL BE IN LABS WRITING LETTERS TO ONE OF YOUR SELECTED FEDERAL LEGISLATORS
FEBRUARY 22/23 - CITIZENSHIP TEST
